Delivers on the idea, I'm bad at the execution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great idea. It lets me have a spa without committing to it always being there. I love that I might be able to take this on a longer rv trip and set up a spa next to our glamping site. In practice I am not good at pulling this off. It's really very easy to setup, but it's still a spa and requires proper maintenance. That's something I'm not good at doing with regularity. All that said, I'd totally recommend this to anyone looking for a fun adventure or addition to their existing backyard water sports experience. Setup is quick and easy. Everything you need is in the box. The air pumps and instructions make setup quick. It took less than an hour to setup and inflate all the parts once I got it unpacked. Filling it took less than 33 minutes. Warming it took a solid 24 hours. Once we were up and running we used it for a week without any issues. I would describe the seating occupancy as being smaller than what the maximum says. If you have a small family you'll all be really comfortable. If it's you and a date or spouse, you'll have plenty of room. If you and friends are using it, it's very tight and socially, tight. So, you need to be really close to those friends. The app makes for super easy control and monitoring. It's got all the same control features on the app that my in-ground pool app utilizes. We warmed things up ahead of time and enjoyed our evenings and mornings. The vents lacked control that I'd prefer and we had a lot of bubbles. I prefer a little less. After a little more than a week the water got a little cloudy and we needed to clean it. We ended up having to switch out the water. It was easy to drain, but I failed to maintain it and my spouse had me pack it up, for now. Packing it up was really easy, though. Everything fit, tightly, in the provided carry-all bag. Overall, this is a solid and fun product that is well made and easy to setup and take down. Buyer beware that the temporary nature of the product does not mean that maintenance is temporary. Be prepared to treat this like a normal salt water spa with regular maintenance.

So relaxing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my family have been enjoying this spa almost every night. The initial set up went well, inflating, filling with water, setting up the digital settings, the only weird thing was the directions for the top cover were on a separate page. So when we were trying to figure out how the top piece goes it was weird it was not in the same book. The spa is a great size and very comfortable, I am 6' tall and can cover my shoulders and spread out. It holds temp very well and the motor is quiet and does not use a ton of power. The bubbles are a nice feature but you usually lose your temp faster when they are on. The digital control panel is easy to use, it charges itself when on the dock and can be detached for use which is very convenient. The headrests are comfortable and we like the color changing light. I like how easy this is to keep clean, it is very minimal work and because it has 2 filters I think that helps a lot. The top cover goes all the way to the floor which protects the sides from getting sun damage, but because it goes over the entire spa it is pretty hard to get on each use. Overall we are super happy with this spa and we get a ton of use out of it.

Great Craftsmanship and easy to setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I am incredibly impressed with this Intex PureSpa Deluxe portable spa. The look is great, with high-quality materials, and great craftsmanship. This is much nicer than other inflatable options I have seen on the market. The pump is quiet, it heats up fairly quick, and the jets offer a nice gentle massage. There is ample space for about 5 people, 6 is a little tight. We set this up in our backyard, which works great. We did try to take this with us on a camping trip once and it worked fine, but it is really heavy (empty of course) and hard to move... I don't recommend trying to travel with it. Easy to clean and maintain, I would absolutely recommend this spa.. and already have!

Great little Spa for the backyard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little spa for the backyard. It is easy to set up once you've got it figured out. The instructions actually make it seem more difficult than it is because they go into such detail, it makes you think you are missing a piece or a step when in reality you are not. I do think it would make the first-time setup easier if there was a "quick set up guide" so to say and maybe label the pieces rather than giving a description of the piece. The overall system works great. I really love how it uses regular salt for the sanitation system rather than chlorine. You will need a 4-pound box of non-iodine salt when you fill it up, I used pickling salt because the granules are small and dissolve faster than kosher salt. It has a widget built into the pump/filter unit that reacts with the salt you put in the water to generate chlorine to keep the water clean. Another absolutely awesome feature is that it inflates and deflates itself! I was not looking forward to trying to inflate this with a foot put for a couple of hours and was super excited to find that the pump/filter/blower unit that sits off to the side, does it all for you! Great engineering there, Intex! One part that was kind of disappointing was the heater. Don't get me wrong, it works just fine and heats the water up to 104F. The disappointing part was how long it takes to heat it. I filled it with the hose and the water coming out was about 70F. It took 2 full days to heat the water to 100F. Now on the plus side, it holds that heat for a long time. It is actually insulated very well. So once it is up to temperature, you are good to go. So far, I have not had any issues with it. It doesn't leak, stays hot, and just works.

Like it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got ours set up and have been enjoying it every evening. Setting up the hot tub is easy with two people however once you have it filled with water you have to wait for the salt to dissolve and then run the sanitizer setting for 8 hours before using. The cover that was sent with ours doesn’t match the directions in the manual our top is two separate parts and doesn’t strap onto the buckles on the side of the tub. The one they sent fits very snuggly all the way down the sides it is kinda difficult to put on I would have rather they sent the other top. Overall we really like the tub the bubble jets feel good on your back and the vinyl feels very sturdy.
