I bought this pool 7 years ago still holding up very good. We leave it up all winter with a foot or so of water. We put down about 5-6 inches of sand to prevent any holes in the bottom and made sure it was level. We live in NL so lots of snow and ice and freezing temperatures.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear your pool has held up so well, even with the challenging conditions. Your proactive setup with sand and leveling sounds like it really paid off. Enjoy many more seasons of fun!
Great, great quality
I owned this pool for several years and I only have great things to say about it. I only had to patch it once and that was my fault. Would definitely buy another intex pool.

I like the lack of pins on the T pipes connecting the top ring when together and came apart easier. all over quality good ...actually seemed a bit better :)

Bigger than it looks!!!
I bought the pool for my daughter and grandson. It's huge!!! Didn't take long setting up. Took over 6 hours to fill up. Haven't gotten the water bill yet. YIKES! Once it was up it takes a lot of hands to get creases out of bottom. And still once water was in there were creases! Then, we filled it too much. Guess we didn't read the fine print!!!! Then it was sloping you one side. We freaked out but googled how to lift it. We accomplished that and it seems fine. A few bars are slanted slightly. But it seems sturdy. Then the cover was a challenge and it's not the best cover. It has already torn. And if you want it to stay on, you will definitely need clips. (Or use pant hangers...I googled that!!!) All in all, it will keep us cool this summer.

Great pool
Bought similar model pool to this in 2009 that was a 15'x48" and after 10 years, I finally had to take it down due to the liner becoming brittle. I've kept this up winter after winter and only drained the pool 1/2 way down during winter months. It survived and the metal frame barely has rust on it after 10 years. I had to take it down because the liner has become brittle and I didn't want to take a chance of it cracking and losing 4500 gallons of water. I saved the frame and hopefully can just order the liner and re-use the frame since they are in good condition. Just wish the inlet and output for the filter were bigger as I purchased a sand filter and the fittings are 1 1/2 inch. The cartridge filter was annoying to replace every week as it always was clogged with pollen and even rinsing it out was getting annoying. I'd recommend anyone getting a pool like this just cut to the chase and get a sand filter between 1,000GPH and 1500GPH if you can find one. It's a lot better to have especially when you need to vacuum the bottom.

Highly Recommend
This is the third season for our pool, and we're still loving it. Everything has held up fine. We take some care to take it apart and store it properly, and it pays up back by being as good as new when we take it out again. Honestly, I think the second year it looked a little better than the first, but maybe that's familiarity. Anyway, we highly recommend this pool...or, if you can, step up to the 18' model. Either way, you'll be happy. I know we'd buy again in an instant. Great quality, great product, Intex!!! Well done!!!
