Arrived Damaged- Returned it

The Instant Pot was damaged, we returned it to the store for a full credit. The return process was extremely easy but the real disappoint was the fact that the unit that was shipped to us visibly had been returned to Macy's once before it was shipped to us. The box was mangled terribly, the Instant Pot was dented and parts separating. Totally unusable and dangerous since this is a pressure cooker!

Arrived Damaged

Lesson learned. I took everything out of the huge box that came in yesterday and disposed of the cardboard debris as it was trash day The box that Macy’s had it packed in was particularly huge and no packing material was used to secure the contents. When I looked at the Instant Pot in the light today, I realized there’s a big dent in it. Now I have no way to return it. I’ve had multiple problems with Macy’s delivery. They take items to the wrong house regularly. This was particularly a problem since the item was large and heavy. I’m not disappointed in Instant Pot as I have another one and really like it… But I’m extremely disappointed in Macy’s.

Dented 3rd attempt!

This would be a good product review except this will be the 3rd time to get it right,hopefully! 1st time . UPS left it in the rain out side the car port? Why no put it underneath the car port ? Dented ! 2nd same thing!! Waiting to see 3rd attempt. The associate that handled the returns and repurchases was great! We’ll see if the 3rd time is the charm. Between my wasted time , gas , disappointments, this Christmas Gift cost me an additional $50 minimum. The only positive was the associate though great doesn’t outweigh the time, gas $$ and disappointments!

Item arrived damaged- returned

I wish I could tell you all the amazing features of this Instapot. I wish I could tell you how neat the air fryer attachment is. I wish I could tell you that I am the best relative ever for purchasing this for Christmas for a loved one. But unfortunately, because Macy’s decided to ship this with absolutely no protective packaging, no air pillows, no packing paper or packing peanuts. the Insta pot came busted, dusted, and torn up from the floor up. And unfortunately for me, by the time I was ready to wrap it and unboxed it I wasn’t able to get a replacement before Christmas. Returned and purchased a different product altogether from another place. So disappointed!
