Fabric for days!

The shape of the dress was fine, but there was so much fabric in the skirt, it took me several minutes to finally get it all the way on.

fun for summer

Terrific summer dress. I bought this dress in blue for a Caribbean cruise. I'm 5'8" very busty & the medium fit great. Beautiful comfortable dress. At my height it hits between my knee & ankle if that helps anyone. Being cotton it is so comfortable especially in hot weather. So happy with this dress!

Comfortable Cotton Dress

Dress is comfy for a cool summer day or early fall. It is heavy and runs large. I am a traditional size 4/6 at 5’4 and ordered a M due to 34dd breasts though had to exchange for a small.

Lovely lightweight dress

I loved this dress but unfortunately, it did not love me. It was the softest lightest material and was reminiscent of the wonderful flattering styles of yesteryear. Disappointingly it was too tight around my middle where I have put on extra weight so what should have been a flattering waistline disappeared as the material was fully stretched. If you are a slim to medium build this dress will look stunning on you but I would not recommend for those like me.

Love the full skirt

I bought this same style last year, (Bloom) different fabric and neckline and I loved it so much that when I saw this I knew I had to have it. I really wanted the V neck with the ties but you can't get the style that is pictured, they only offer the halter neckline which isn't my favorite but I kept it anyway. The full skirt is fabulous for ballroom dancing and that's mainly why I got it. The waistline elastic isn't very snug even in the XS size. Wish it was smaller in the waist but I'm altering it to fit better. I hope Macy's continues to offer this style next year too. Love INC!!!

Very long dress

I ordered the blue dress and it came in the halter type. (No option is given to choose which type dress you want.) The dress was 100% cotton, and the skirt had lots and lots of fabric. This would have been ok, if the dress wasn't so long on my 5'4" frame. It was to the floor and wouldn't look good with flats. The other problem I had was that the elastic waist didn't sit properly on my waist and was wide enough to come to my hips. When I had the elastic waist in place on my waist, the top of the dress became very bunchy, in the front and in the back. I've had other dresses, similar to this made by another manufacturer (Grace Elements - and purchased at Macy's 2 years ago) and the elastic waist was not as wide as on this dress. Maybe on a much taller person, this dress would fit better. It didn't work for me.

The black dress delivered didn't match the picture

I ordered various sizes of the black v neck dress (pictured) but received black dresses with halter neck style. On the website, the halter neck is the blue dress. Like the other reviewer, I wanted the v neck dress. I loved the rest of the dress but did not want halter neck. Unfortunately, I will be returning the dress.

Beautiful dress, but came with a surprise

I loved the look of the black dress in the photo, so I ordered it thinking that it would have a v neck. Unfortunately, it arrived with a halter neck, a style that I cannot wear. I wish the description had stated that the neck style was randomly chosen. It will be returned untouched.
