I Regret Buying This

Not what I expected. The storage capacity is small. I thought it would keep the ice frozen, but it doesn't, you have to put the ice in the freezer. It just sits on my counter taking up space.

Disappointed in storage capacity

I am disappointed that the storage capacity is much smaller than I expected based on the specifications. They state that it has the capacity to make 33 pounds of ice a day, but it only holds a small fraction of that amount, so in order to have that much in a day, or even half that requires that the ice it makes either be used constantly throughout the day or must be stored elsewhere, which defeats my purpose.

Makes ice but doesn't keep it frozen

Technically it does what it says it does. What I didn't realize is that the machine doesn't keep the ice cold/frozen. It did make the ice within about 6 minutes for the small cubes but you literally have to use it on the spot or it will melt. I let the basket fill up with ice and then stuck it in the regular freezer. That didn't work either because it starts to melt which makes all the ice stick together, you just end up with a giant block of ice instead that you have to try to break apart. If it does melt, it melts into the reservoir which is a decent design feature. For as big as this thing is, I was assuming it did much more. Unless you want to stand there and grab ice every 6 minutes and immediately throw it in the freezer, I wouldn't bother with this machine.

Don’t buy this

Bought this so we could have extra ice, this machine is difficult to clean. I’ve done everything possible and mold still forms. I regret buying this
