A Book Readers Diagnostic

Ok. Icebreaker has a little girl title and non existent content warnings. If it was portrayed for what it was vs what kids see it would have a better wrap. I honestly didn’t have a problem with the plot. I saw character growth, fun relationships as well as teaching the difference between healthy behaviors and toxic behaviors. That said, I agree with the complaints about the poor writing and bad character descriptions. She could have been on a time crunch but the first thing you should do when writing is getting to know your characters mentally AND physically. If you throw in a more mature cover as well as content warnings on the first page (ie. Sexual content, violence, inappropriate language, and toxic behavior) then ten year old girls and younger wont know what a G-spot is too young and parents wont be buying it for them. If you love smut (like most of us do) then this book is for you but if you like smut AS WELL AS good writing take your time and money somewhere else. -The doc has diagnosed

Loved it

Although it's a good book, I do not recommend letting your children read this book. Overall, I do recommend reading it. Again, if you can't handle the contents, I recommend watching a movie called Cutting Edge, dame plot, less spicy.

Bleaching My Eyes

What did I just read. No, I’m genuinely asking because what possessed the author to write this. Straight up smut with little to no plot. “Over ONE MILLION copies” has me speechless. You mean to tell me trees were torn down and wildlife habitats were destroyed for this???? I’m so done.

Do not let the cover fool you.

Me and my 10 year old daughter were at this store the other day looking around. She handed me this book and told me she had read a few pages and really liked it. I asked her a few questions and she told me it was a sweet love story about a hockey player and a figure skater. My daughter is a figure skater, so I figured this would be something she would really like. She could use it to play her little 10 year old make believe. She read the entire book within a week, telling me she really liked it. She read through it multiple times after that and even let a few friends borrow it. I would catch her at night re-reading, but she always somehow happened to be in the same spots. I took this as a good sign, because after all she was reading. A few months later I was taking with my sister and she brought up this book. She told me how it tricks parents into thinking it is a kids book, when in reality it is straight smut. This is not just a "spicy" book. This is just a ph video made into a book. DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR CHILDREN. She has since begun using foul language and saying absurd sexual things that she never has said before. Please take this off the shelves.

Good book.

This was the first “spicy” book I’d ever read, and was pretty good to start out. Cute ending, and actually has a plot besides all the spice.

Great Smut Book

I just finished reading this it was a decent read. It is an enemies to lover style book definitely for 18+ adult content in some chapters. I do like that they switched POV but I did notice some lack of the plot but overall it was a good read and I know why its trendy on TikTok!
