Beautiful boots horrible way to receive them

Beautiful boots! However these had been a return from another person. Macy's didn't even pretend they were new. The packaging was a mess in the boot box. The inserts were out of the boots and the protective covering was off and stuffed in the box. Horrible presentation when I opened the box. I don't mind buying boots that have been returned but I received a box of basically trash and 2 boots dumped on top. Gross.
