Wrong size!!!!!

After waiting 6 weeks for this item, I was so excited when it arrived. After spending 2 hours assembling it, it turns out the bed wasn’t even wide enough!!!! I could t even fit my King mattress in it. It is advertised as 78” wide but was only 74” wide. I would not recommend.

Very Beautiful ! Stable and Solid

Shipped in a reasonable amount of time. Packages were heavy. Box with headboard was torn in front but that was the fault of the carrier not Macy's. Took awhile to unpack and check all the parts were present and no damage. Everything looked good. Let headboard sit out for at least a week before installing to off gas any potential odor. After a week no noticeable odor or smell. Blue velvet color is beautiful ! Headboard looks elegant. Sideboards just ok. Once installed you don't really notice them up close. Color matches headboard. Instructions and pictures on directions included are very vague. Instructions are just for general information, and give a basic idea of how it goes together Directions was for a Queen and I bought a King. Did give some help to figure out putting together the king frame. Takes 2 people to put together. Having patience, and physical strength helps but in the end you will appreciate this bed frame. Very solid and ours supports a 9" box spring and a 14" mattress that is heavy. My Husband and I are large people and have approx. 450 lbs. between us. Frame supports all well with no noise, creaking or movement we have noticed. Have been sleeping on bed for 4 days. Will update review at a later time if anything changes. Enjoy your purchase, you won't be disappointed.
