great style, color is not true black

Last year...I had bought similar Hurley dri-fit shorts in black, for my 13yo son for school (uniform)....and he loved them! He needed a bigger size so I ordered these, thinking they were the same black shorts that he already had. Well, the style & material are the same, but these new ones are a Charcoal gray, not a true black that he needs for school. Bummer, because the style is perfect for my son's thin athletic build, and he is picky with his clothes!

Great quality

I bought these for my two boys (average sized 12 year old, bigger 10 year old). Loved these shorts but had to return for a bigger size. I had gotten a size 14 and 16, the 14 was way too small and the 16 fit but was snug, so I reordered an 18 for both. Not sure if these run small or I’m underestimating how big my children are for their age. They are 4’11 and 5’3, both 100-105lbs.

Macy's uses the wrong size chart for this brand. Hurley XL is 29/30 inch waist. The brand and material is quality. But look up the brand size chart and you will have correct sizing.

Soft and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally the only shorts my son will wear. The Adjustable waist and dri fit material keeps you comfortable and provides a cool look for teens. He's 14 but we grabbed a 16 since he likes a looser fit. These are classic fit shorts & lightweight. No shrinking after washing and kept its color.

Great product, highly recommended, Soft

The shirt has been washed a few times and looks brand new. The shirt doesn't shrink and the fabric is still nice. I highly recommend this.

Perfect school shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the perfect shorts for my son to go to school in. They arent too snug either. They are comfortable to him and he has a lot of room to move in them. He is able to play around at the play ground without worrying that they will hold him back. Perfect stitching and all. They dont shrink when you dry them either.
