Too long and fabric too thin

I've been buying a version of these kneesocks for years, but this version has issues. First, the fabric is much thinner than I've come to know and like. But apparently that's not in order to save on fabric. because they're also too long. I ordered M/L for a size 9 shoe and very long legs, but they're too long for me. So I suggest they go back to more opaque but one inch shorter, and we'll all be happy.

Outstanding socks; hard to find online

Excellent socks, long wearing, and attractive. Trying to fnd these exact socks using Macys website was a nightmare; took four returns, but came out well in the end. The customer should not have to do all the detailed ordering when website is too vague, especially for seniors not used to computers.
