rug - okay

I bought this rug at the Macy's store because it was the size an color I wanted. Unfortunately, it was folded on a table where I picked it up. After a few weeks open, on the floor, it still has a crease down the middle of the rug. Ugh

Disappointed

The online description of the Hotel Collection Turkish Bath Rug says nothing about the back of the rug being sprayed with a latex. My experience with these latex backings is that they degrade and create a mess in the washing machine. I would not have chosen this carpet if I had known that. Also, it is not clear if the OEKO-TEX MADE IN GREEN certification includes the sprayed on latex backing.
