Disappointed

I originally loved my dishes (have 3 sets) unfortunately they are only 6 months and break very easy.

Very pretty/versatile

I purchased six of these at the Mpls Macy's closing/liquidation sale. It wasn't the best deal ever but I love these bowls with one very minor caveat. 1. Look: I bought 3 in the dark gray and 3 in the light gray. Both colors are very pretty/modern but I do prefer the lighter gray (only a preference). They'd look great with all same color but I also like mix/match with white plates. It'd be fun if Hotel Collection would introduce some bright colors into this mix (like a kelly green) 2. Versatile: I was looking for a pasta dish (low rim for saucy dishes) and this works perfectly but it could also be used for soups or even for plated dishes. Honestly, these could be used for anything. 3. Easy upkeep: dishwasher, microwave AND oven safe up to 350 degrees. I can put the pasta on and then bake some cheese on top. 4. My only con is that they don't fit well into the dishwasher--the spot that usually put plates is too narrow for these. I generally get around this by putting at the far sides where pans usually go. I seriously would replace all of my plates/bowls with these if they did fit into my dishwasher nicely. Overall, I'd highly recommend these.
