They looked very sleek and perfect for the design element I sought. However, when they arrived, the quality was most definitely inferior and a bit of an insult to the brand. I'm surprised that the Hotel Collection would have allowed this. Great style, IKEA quality. And I love everything from the hotel collection! If you're looking for something with some style on a budget, this will definitely be a great choice. This is not a high-end product that would merit high-end pricing.
Finish comes off
We have been using this set for about a year now, and the black finish is rubbing off. We purchased two sets and have a household of three, so use is not over the top. Super disappointed in the quality, especially for the price.
Still love these 3 years later
I love this flatware! I've had for 3+ years and use daily. A lot of the reviews state scratching & issues with wear. I haven't had this issue but I followed the instructions when it came to washing and not a single issue. Don't use dishwasher EVER and don't let them sit in water for any amount of time and you'll have no issues. I continue to buy more sets when they are on sale!

TERRIBLE QUALITY!!!
This silverware is beautiful - when it arrives new - but like many of the other reviews say below - it rusts and gets water stains within 1 or 2 uses. Do not buy!!!
Nice feel bad finish
Like the feel and weight a lot. Does scratch easily and the finish wears off. We have had the set for less than a year and they already look badly abused. We do put them through the dishwasher, not sure how much better they would be if we had hand washed every time. Pretty disappointing for how much it costs.
Questionable Quality
After a year this flatware fades. Didnt expect it to not be of higher quality.
Discolored and fading
I loved these at first, but now they have discolored. They are no longer black, but showing gold through out the silver ware. With how much these cost, they should not be discoloring.
Really bummed
Being able to wash them would be nice. We just got 4 sets of these so not a cheap purchase. I washed them all by hand and laid them on a rack to dry. Come back to find water spots. So I re wash them but make sure to dry with a towel right away. Still spots. Tried the dishwasher in a desperate final attempt. Nope they are marked permanently with spots.
