This item arrived in a worn, dented, box. It purports to hold 12 cups = 2.8 liters but when I checked it only held 1.5.
Terrible Don't buy this
Lasted 3 months . The rubber handle becomes loose and slides off. Very unsafe. 3months and now it's garbage.
Beautiful and functional
This is beautiful and looks fancy. And, of course, it does the job, which is the most important thing.
Design Flaw
the rivets have broken and now the handle is very loose, once the bottom rivets break the glass will not be held by the metal handle and this will be useable. The screen that comes with it does not filter out coffee grinds (the edges are rolled inward and is not making contact with the sides of the glass); the glass moves around inside the metal "cage" and at times slides almost out of the cage for the potential to break the glass carafe. I feel there is a safety issue to continue using this item.
