Get it while you can!

I installed this into a casement window using the suppplied metal installation hardware and a piece of insulating board I got from Home depot. It's not at all a problem to jury rig an installation of such units to vent through casement windows: If I can do it, anyone can. I slid my finger across the panel and it recognized every action I wanted it to make. Even better, it came with a remote so I can stay a couch potato if I want to be a coach potato. 5 stars for design, customization, originality, ease of control, and the elegant white that has me at awe.

Love this portable AC unit

Love this portable AC unit. Bought it for our upstairs secondary bedroom which is about 200 sq ft. Didn't want to run the Central AC unit for this house just for one room at night, so made sense to purchase this unit. Pros: + Looks great + Cools the room fast! + Easy to install and set up. + Not as noisy as I thought. The fan is quiet and when the compressor kicks in you turns up the decibels, but doesn't bother me. +Exhaust hose and components seem to do a great job of not letting heat back into the house. Make sure the space between the unit and your window is fairly short. Cons: - This unit pulls 9.4 amps. Make sure that the AC plug you are using doesn't strain your fuse box and cause it to trip.
