Don’t order

Don’t waste your time to buy it. It will not arrive. I purchased this bible over two weeks ago now and as at the time I’m writing this review, it hasn’t arrived.

KJV Gustave Dore illustrated Bible

The main reason of the purchase was the illustrations by Dore. The binding is very nice. Very good price, shipping was good. I mainly read out of my Thomas Nelson Study Bible however I will keep this one handy as more of a display Bible and illustration reference for biblical art. Gustave Dore was an amazing artist.

Barnes and Noble KJV Bible beautiful

I just recently purchased this Bible from a Barnes and Noble bookstore in town and fell I love with it. The Bible reminds me of those Bibles that were printed back in the old days when there were no study notes just the plain Word of God by itself . The illustrations by Gustave Dore are impressive as well as the Bible’s front, side, and back cover engraving it look just like those Bibles from the 19th century giving it an antique look…..absolutely a must for any serious Bible collector!!!
