Sure it would have been lovely if...

Arrived in pieces, the packing seemed less robust that called for by this fragile ornament. Called and ask to have replaced, of course, no more were available, and then Macy's asked that I send broken bits back to receive a refund! Seems wasteful and carbon intensive; I would have been happy to send a photo of the destruction.
