Excellent

I was worried this wouldn't be a nice knife set bc it was on clearance. I went with it bc of the brand. It is the nicest set ai have ever had. Self aharpening is a total plus. And its a beautiful knife block. I certainly got a great deal.

Dissatisfied with Henckels

Henckels knife set is a poor quality, light weight, not balanced, and the blades are flexing. It is dissatisfying that Henckels puts their name on such poor quality knife set.

Macys registry

I purchased this as a shower gift from myself and my daughter.. so I am not rating the item but the service. However I was extremely disappointed in the way it was handled. First of all, the item was purchased and then a statement came up that said it was being sent directly to an address ( which was of the bride to be). In fact I wanted it sent to my address. Secondly, there was no gift card or enclosure note . How was she to know it was from TWO people. This service needs improvement.

Great knife set

Looked at this set before but bought a different set being unsure about self sharpening feature. Needed another set and gave it a try. Last Act. Very happy with purchase. Just need to remember which slot they go in.

VERY Disappointed

Used one steak knife and the prep knife. They both cut well however after washing them for the first and last time, by hand and drying with a towel, there was water marks that would not come off of the blades/handles and the handles looked a little faded compared to the ones we did not try. Then my husband noticed they were made in Japan, not Germany like our other set. Would return them if they were not last act. Very disappointing!
