All you need to know about heart & brain health

Amazing book filled with the latest science. As someone who has lost loved ones to dementia, I’ve been searching for specifics on how to protect my memory. This book has the first truly comprehensive program I’ve seen to not only keep your memory sharp but also protect the health of your heart and all your vital organs. It’s called the AHA for life plan and the doctors who wrote the book actually guarantee in writing that their patients won’t have heart attacks and strokes if they follow it. I particularly liked how each chapter has action steps to take. It was also interesting to learn the importance of dental health in avoiding a lot of chronic illness, and to find a genetically based plan to guide lifestyle and diet. I learned a lot from each chapter and think many doctors would also be enlightened by the book. It tells you what tests to ask for and why you need them. I found the book a wake-up call for patients and doctors thst the current standard of care is not good enough when heart disease remains the leading killer. However it was also inspiring since it has the stories of many patients, some of whom were very ill or even candidates for heart transplants, yet managed to turn their health around with tha AHA plan, which is focused on keeping all of your arteries healthy. After reading this wonderful book, I feel much more optimistic about my prospects for keeping my memory sharp.
