Poor review of order and awful perfumed cards

This was a bad experience for me on a number of levels. First off I ordered two pajama bottoms of the same size 2XL. Whoever fulfilled decided whatever pajama bottoms they had available was good enough and ended up sending me a two XL and a medium. when the mailing bag came, Macy’s had stuffed four scented cards of different perfumes into the bag which made me physically a little bit ill. We know that scented material can make people sick, which is why in many public spaces it’s disallowed. But Macy’s ignored all that and stuff the envelope with those horrendous cards. When I saw that both of the bottoms were different sizes, I had to look at my options for sending one back and I was fresh out of the hospital after a significant health event. My best option was to go to Macy’s with the undersized garment for a refund. I came up to the customer service desk with a cane with the code from my email for the refund. The customer service agent was very courteous, but could not find the refund source even with scanning my code and it took her several minutes to find a workaround in order to finally execute my refund. She looked briefly for the same pajama bottoms in my size, but they were not to be found. This was a significant inconvenience, and it was based on carelessness and a lack of quality control at the fulfillment source. Based on this experience, I am never going to be ordering anything from Macy’s online again. Finally, the pair that did fit were wreaking of the perfume sent from the cards and so I had to wash that pair before I can even imagine putting them on. Not a good experience from start to finish and not a good source to order anything by mail from. Sorry Macy’s this is a definite fail.
