Bought this for an elderly person in need of a toaster and an oven. Tried the toaster out and works fine.... the next step will be the oven but I have no doubt that the oven will perform. Small footprint and a marvelous combo and design with simple simple functions to follow..... bravo!!!
Small Footprint, Annoying Ding, Poor Heating
Purchased this to replace a Hamilton Beach Toastation Toaster that we loved for 10 years until the door stopped closing all of the way. Purchased this one because the footprint is almost as small as the previous one. Was disappointed that the pan from the old one did not fit into this one because we need to have 2 pans going in our household so that one may be free from foods that one person in our household is allergic to. This machine has a loud "Ding" when it is plugged in, when it is turned on and when the food is done. When the food is done it dings repeatedly in an annoying manner. Because of the small footprint we are going to stay with this one for a while and hope to get used to the annoying ding. It took two rounds in the toaster to properly toast homemade, self sliced bread which was disappointing - especially with all that "Dinging" going on.

Avoid this product! Weak, cheap, weird!
I have had a Hamilton Beach Toastation for 10 years and finally needed to eplace it. I figured it would be the same, but it is not. The new Toastation is cheaply made, does not get hot enough to properly toast, and makes a useless, annoying ding sound whenever you do anything with the toaster. Do yourself a favor and pick something else. We unfortunately need a very small footprint toaster oven and this seems to be the only small footprint model available. That is its only redeeming feature.
