Poor design of the pot.

I don't like the pot....it leaks every time when pouring from it.

Not worth the $$ - not a true thermal coffee pot

This is not a true thermal carafe pot. The coffee maker has a heating element on the bottom that heats the carafe to keep the coffee hot. A thermal carafe coffee pot allows you to take the carafe off of the coffee maker and leave it on the table for serving. Not only do you have to keep this on the coffee pot base but you have to set the coffee maker timer to continue heating the coffee. Very disappointed. We bought this for our camper to be able to take the carafe outside to the picnic table but the coffee gets cold quickly. We realized this after using it the first couple of times. It's an expensive coffee pot for what you are getting. You are better off getting a Black & Decker or a Bunn true thermal coffee pot.

Leaks water

This coffee maker had every feature I wanted. Unfortunately, within a month, it began to leak water from the bottom of the unit. Finally found time after the holidays today to start my return only to discover my return by date had passed. Oh brother!

Misleading 10 Cup

The Carafes stands out. It "seems" to be made very well. I've only had it for 10 days. I had read reviews that this spills over. The reason it might spill is because the coffee maker holds 12 cups of water. The "carafe" holds 10 Cups. SO if you fill the coffee maker with 12 cups, it will overflow into carafe. I still like it, but disappointed it only holds 10 cups yet advertised as a 12 Cup
