Reliable and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old rice cooker broke so I had to purchase a replacement. This gets the job done and is easy to use!

Great Rice Cooker

I love this rice cooker. Makes my life so much easier and the rice is perfect. I also love that it make a lot of rice if I want to make for my big family. I can also make a smaller amount. It took a week to ship to me but worth the wait.

Shut off on me

Bought it from Macy's. Used it for several months, and it abruptly shut off. Can't get it to work. Don't see anything wrong with the cord. Can't find the receipt to get a refund. Very unhappy customer!

I wish I can return it

I am extremely disappointed of this rice cooker. The rice always comes out sticky and not fluffy. I have tried the oft-given ratio of 2 liquid to 1 rice is much too high for steaming long grain white rice- 1 to 1 up to 1 1/3 to 1 is a more realistic ratio. I also added olive oil but that did not work at all either. The few times I used it rice gets stuck on the pan. I wish I can return it :(

Way smaller than I expected.

This is not a 16 cup rice cooker except maybe when cooked. I did not bother because as soon as I opened the box I realized it had half the capacity of my 10-cup rice cooker. I am not sure how the capacity is measured. So buyer be aware of the dimensions of the cooker

Steam basket is a big plus

This rice cooker with steaming basket makes eating healthy meals easy. We often steam veggies, salmon, and other food in basket while cooking brown rice. Jasmine rice comes out beautifully too. The pot is really easy to clean too. I've had rice cookers for decades, but the steam basket really makes this one so much better.
