For the festive season, Guerlain Makeup Creative Director Violette has been inspired by artist Shourouk Rhaiem's rhinestone world to create the limited-edition Météorites Sous Les Étoiles (Under the Stars). This luxury case contains a shade inspired by the best-selling shade 02, leaving a golden finish, evoking the light of a starry night. "For a complexion with a made-to-measure glow, I've precisely chosen the different colors of Meteorites Pearls, taking into account the undertones and subtle variations on shades that characterize each type of skin tone." - Violette. The one-of-a-kind, handmade finishing pearls of powder set makeup, color correct, mattify shine and illuminate the complexion. Violette came together with Guerlain Perfumer Delphine Jelk to revisit the Météorites' iconic scent. The violet floral heart has been preserved. To bring modernity, a woodier facet with a sandalwood, musk and vanilla note was added.

Not what I expected

Not what I expected. I was hoping it was a blush, but it’s more like a powder. So you don’t see any of those pink/gold colors on your face. It’s more like a see-through powder.

Smooth and light fragrance

I’ve been purchasing this or the compact now for several years. I never liked the fragrance of the original so I gave it to my daughter and she started using it. The makeup is one of the best, wish they lighten up the smell.
