This pack is incredibly comfortable and great for backpacking. I wish it were a little lighter, but I understand that the weight comes from making it so comfortable.

Beautiful Bag

I love the color and the fit of the bag. I already packed it and walked around the house! Everything fits with some room to spare. I’m excited to take it out and put it to the test!

Amazing pack!

I've had my deva pack for a decade now and it still looks brand new. Not a single stitch out of place. I always used a cheap rain cover, I've gone through 3 of those. But this pack has seen 13 countries, gotten soaked by rain, seawater, sand, dirt, been strapped to the back of motorcycles and stored under buses and boats, and is still kicking. It provides excellent hip support, the best of any pack I've tried. My husband eventually got a Gregory for the same reason. I have been amazed by the quality of workmanship and comfortable wear.

Mbarete babyyy

I’ve had this for over 2 years and I love it. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time/ roomy/lots of pockets. She has survived tumbles and all kind of wild weather. We Stan.

Great features for the weight and price

I am an older female that values comfort over ultralite. My Deva 70 is moderate on weight but is stable and comfortable. My pack weight with food and water is usually around 32 pounds and this pack carries that easily and hugs my body. I have tried ultralight packs and they are too unstable and tug on my shoulders. This pack has easy to access storage pockets. Gregory pretty much thought of everything, including a rain cover.

Great backpack!

So nice for someone with such a small torso. I got the extra small for torso and it’s pretty magical to have a backpack that actually fits me!! So excited to try this out thus year.

Great features and fit!

Got this pack for a backpacking trip in the Adirondacks. It held up really well! I loved having the little daypack for day hikes, and the extra water bottle pouch that was stashed away was also really great. The fit was about as comfortable as I could have hoped any frame pack could be, too! Overall Im really happy with my purchase

So far, so good

I have not had a chance to try my new Deva 70 on a trip yet. I have carried it on strenuous 5-mile hikes to test it and get it adjusted--so far, so good! It seems well balanced for heavy loads and is super adjustable. CONS: What I miss from my old version Deva 60 (the little sister in the series) are pockets and convenience. The long outer pockets no longer have an inner sleeve, which are essential (in my 60) for organizing gear. Those in my 60 are lightweight, mesh pockets and should be included in the 70. These long pockets are very difficult to access and to zip/unzip. The divider between the main area and the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom is too small--gear falls down all the time. PROS: The zippers are very stout--better than on my old Deva 60. The suspension system is as good as ever. The pack is relatively light, and the capacity seems right. It comes with a rain cover. It still has zipped outer compartments (the newest version is trying to be an Osprey, with just an elastic pouch). It is a pretty blue, and I *love* the hot pink trim, rain cover, and "tagalong" bag. (I think there should be more pink trim/pink zippers.) The attached picture shows it in action, but it is not fully loaded yet. I can't wait to put this to the true test on an extended trip to Argentina this December!
