Beautiful but a bit flawed

I love the simple, elegant design of these dishes. They also seem sturdy and not prone to chipping like the previous set I had from another company. However, the gold edges around the dinner plates and salad plates are rough and uneven - poorly finished. The edges of the cups, in contrast, are smooth and nicely finished, like all the pieces should be. For the disappointing edging on the plates, these only get 4 stars.

Good set of dishes.

It’s a very nice set. And, I love Mikasa. It just wasn’t the color of blue I was expecting. Duller than I wanted. So hard, sometimes, to shop online.

Good quality

Loved that this set is not oversized. Fits nicely in cabinets. Color is beautiful. Has nice weight to it. Definitely recommend this pattern.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

My husband I and wanted a set of dishes that were simple, yet nice looking. So far, we love this set of dishes. The gold rim gives them a classy look, but still functional and easy to cleaned. They fit in the dishwasher perfectly and have had no problems using in the microwave. We were so happy with these, we ended up getting enough for a 16 place setting.

Had to return due to plates getting incredibly hot in the microwave. You pay for return shipping so be careful when ordering!
