Love it

New Baker here! I love this thing. Just don't put it in the dishwasher.. It wouldn't turn anymore after.. I oiled it with olive oil, and it's back working! Hand wash only! but other than that, it's a great turntable. The sticker was a little annoying but nothing different than any other sticker or barcode when shopping.

Surprisingly lightweight, rotates evenly & easily

It is surprisingly lightweight, rotates evenly & easily. (I have yet to use it with a cake on it, but placed a heavy item on it and rotating is a breeze.) Mine also came with the large sticker on the turntable. Came off easily, w/some time. - This is what worked for me; I peeled off the first sticker layer; It's recommended not to submerge for long periods, so I saturated a couple of paper towels w/water (could also use a cloth/sponge) & placed it on the remaining sticker & let soak for about 10-15 min. (I wiped/dried around the top edge so it wouldn't drip water.) After 10-15 min., I easily scraped off the soft portion & wiped it. Then repeated by placing the water soaked paper towel back on it for another 10-15 min. Once more, scraped the soft portion, then wiped it off. (you could probably continue this process w/ water until it comes clean... but I ended up wiping on some Goo Gone (Duck's Adhesive Remover would work also), Then buffed it off & washed w/dish soap & water. :)

How to remove the sticker

I like everything about this cake stand but the sticker removal. I soaked it upside down until all the paper part was removed. Then for the sticky part, I used everyday olive oil with a "blue" nylon sponge to scrub off the rest. Then a little hot water and dish soap finished the job.

Great quality

My cake stand did not have the sticker the other reviews mention. It is steady, sturdy and well leveled.

sticker on Turntable

the turntable is perfect, but the sticker is just not practical. maybe this company should use a different method like cardstock, paper for their logo and advertisement. after reading other reviews I saw it was hard to take off. thankfully I used a product called Detachol and it removed the sticker within seconds.
