Armani Code Elixir surprised me in the best way. I expected a typical safe designer scent, but this one goes darker and bolder. The tonka bean is rich and smoky with a boozy, slightly sweet vibe, and the suede leather is front and center — smooth, deep, and a little daring. There’s a smoky note that might throw some people off (a bit medicinal), but if you’re into peaty whiskey or leathery fragrances, it adds serious character. It’s not an everyday scent — more suited for nights out or special occasions. Great longevity and projection. Seductive, classy, and definitely stands out from the crowd.

Great fall/winter scent
For lovers of the Armani Code line, I would look out for this one. I have only ever tried the discounting Absolu, so that's what I'm comparing this to. A lot of people say this is really similar to Absolu, which it is, but this is really heavy on the leather. The note break down mentions boozy notes as well, but I don't really get that. Performance is pretty standard for a fall/winter scent, you won't be choking anyone out, but it is definitely not weak. The bottle is really nice and classy and the magnetic cap is always a great touch.

The best type of leather fragrace
ARMANI CODE ELIXIR is a boozy leather scent. It has a sweet side due to the boozy notes and the leather is a very tame leather. Smells like the prefect mix between designer leather and niche leather fragrances. It last over 12 hours projecting for at least 8 of those hours. The bottle and package are beautiful! It can be worn day or night but leans towards a night time scent. Perfect for winter and fall. Overall this is a great place to start if you want to get into the more realistic leather fragrances!

Perfect fall / winter scent
Armani code Elixir has one of the best leather notes I have experience in a fragrance in a long time. It’s realistic and well balanced. The scent lasts on skin for a very long time and has a strong projection. This is going on my fall / winter fragrance wardrobe for sure.

Armani Code Elixir is one of the strongest flankers in the Armani Code line — a fragrance that balances intensity with elegance, offering warmth, depth, and sensuality without being overpowering. This is a beautiful scent, rich and cozy - perfect for winter or evening. It opens slowly and lasts for hours. What really surprised me is how well it works in hot weather too. Even when it’s warm , it doesn’t feel heavy and you never notice any body odor. It just smells elegant and clean all day
