Desk Drawers Fall Apart - Do Not Function Properly

We purchased this desk and rarely used the drawer. Opened the drawer and it was crooked. Pulled the drawer out and all of the mechanisms fell apart. Called customer service, they sent repairman, he said parts would need to be ordered. Tried reaching him a few times a month later, no voice mail, no answer. Called customer service again. They said that they would take care of it. A month later, nothing still. Walked into Macy’s where we purchased it, they were very helpful and immediately placed the order for a replacement. The replacement desk arrived and there was a drawer not functioning properly. We did not accept the replacement. We now have two expensive book cases with no matching desk. Do not recommend anyone purchase this desk. The drawers do not function and they can't seem to get parts and fix them. It now went up in price by about $300 since our purchase year ago. Refunding the desk doesn't really work since we are now stuck with two bookcases and no desk to match.

A beautiful bookshelf

It’s sturdy and beautiful! We have used it as a traditional bookshelf and it’s been a great home for our extensive library (and a few special family photographs).

I love my new file cabinet. I just got it home and wiped it all down with a wood oil. It's the nicest looking file cabinet I've ever seen. The moment I saw it in the store I decided I had to have it! The bottom drawer is where you store your files and then you have 2 drawers on the right to hold items such as note pads and supplies & then 2 open easy access shelves on the left side. The bottom drawer has a lock and the entire unit is sturdy and visually appealing. Awesome!
