Just the Dishes We Were Looking For

While these dishes are heavy, they became our favorites anyway. The matte color and perfect sizes meant they were always in the dishwasher. So we bought another set.

Not Good!

They are heavy, they chip very easily and the up turned lip makes them difficult for the dishwasher to clean them.

Love my white stoneware

Recently I moved and downsized a collection for every season of china. So I searched for something that would work for every season since I am getting older, when I came accross the Gibson Stoneware and decided on the white so I could dress it up or down with linens, centerpieces, etc and it works beautifully! I love this stoneware! It's so strong and easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and invest in Gibson Stoneware. I also bought a platter and serving bowl in the red color for my Christmas table!

Not durable with light use

The dishes came packed well but I wish I had kept the boxes so I could return these. After very first use, fork marks are left on the plates and bowls. No heavy slicing mind you, just normal every day use and they look terrible already. The finish is just not right. My last dishes were used over 20 years before they had to be replaced. These are a total waste. The plates also have a weirdly deep lip, which makes them nest in the dishwasher and hard to get clean.

Dinnerware disappointment

Like the color of the dinnerware, however, two of my salad plates were chipped when I received them in the mail.

Bad color

The dishes look like the picture, EXCEPT the "open white" color. Instead of being a sandy off-white, they are a pink beige color. Disappointing because the color pictured is what we were looking for.

Great dishes !

Nice , heavy , rich- looking dishes which look even better than the picture . Very happy with them . The ones advertised as “white”are actually more off - white , ivory FYI
