Stitching falling apart after two months

Love the shoes, very comfortable. I use them only for going to work, where I am at my desk most of the day, so very light wear. Only after two months, stitching on top of one of the shoes started separating. Could not return or exchange, as 30-day return window closed per Macy’s policies. So while I love the shoes, I can’t wear just one. Disappointing.
