Too fragile

I purchased these in sterling and the threader earrings broke while I was attempting to remove them from the packaging. The rubber stopper placed on the stem was too tight, and when I tried to slide it off, the stem detached from the chain, making the earrings unusable

They are absolutely cute and a nice style for day to day. The only drawback was the plastic stopper that was extremely hard to remove.
