Love this

I’ve been wanting a thermal/metal carafe. I have other GE appliances so wanted a trusted GE product. I don’t understand the negative comments here. I think this is a great coffee maker and does all it says it does.

The brew of coffee was warm not hot. I had to return it.

Terrible Quality Control

I was excited to get my coffee maker and anxious to get it set up to brew a pot. Imagine my surprise and disgust when I opened the box and found that I had been sent a used item. There were water marks all over the brewer and carafe. Even the carafe had water in it. The cord was not tucked into the back and the instruction manual was missing. Needless to say I was inconvenienced having to return it but the icing on the cake was when the sales person asked me if anything was wrong with it and when I replied that it was used her only response was “ oh, okay”. She put a return label on it and probably put it back into stock for some other customer to receive it. What vet happened to quality control?

Nice coffee maker

I love the look of this machine and coffee flavor it produces. However, it's noisier than expected. I've also had problems with coffee grounds bubbling over and spilling into the pot while brewing. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the machine.

Too many issues.

Should have believed the many reviews that spoke of inability to read numbers that measure the water tank, inability to stick your hand in carafe to wash, the instructions to set timer on warming plate do not work. (They are different instructions in Spanish and those do not work either.) The warming plate light does not turn on. Plus, you never know how much coffee is left in thermal carafe. Going back ASAP.
