Loved it so much I bought another!
I love this watch. There is so much more that you can do with this watch that the other i company cannot. It’s kinda sad I cannot reply or talk through the watch but I can still view and pick up the phone on the watch. It’s tracks metrics for exercise very well and you can build workouts through the app. Did I mention the battery lasts for almost a month! With a full charge I got a full week of diving on it does get pretty close to empty after 15 dive using it with a transmitter but it’s still amazing. Love the brightness on this screen it’s so much brighter than the previous generation. I’m still a fairly new diver but I have about 20 dives with this watch and absolutely love this watch. If you want a watch to wear daily I highly recommend this watch!

Nice watch. The marketing is a bit misleading.
I purchased two of these for my wife and me. There are no underwater map capabilities, only at the surface. Also, the subsonic communication is preprogrammed and you are stuck with what Garmin has programmed. The transmitters do not work in a pool so only in open water which is fine. However, if you are inside a wreck and the transmitters fail as well, you're gonna have a bad time, M'kay. This concern remains to be seen. If so, they are worthless as a dive computer. Why have an integrated dive computer that fails to integrate the air supply with ANYTHING that can cause interference? My transmitter would not even read my personal air supply in a pool. That's CRAZY! I can understand that maybe not having the ability to read my buddy, who is 50 feet away due to the pool interference, but in open water inside a wreck, they had better work. Lives depend on it. Again, to be determined. Fingers crossed they work as advertised when diving wrecks.

I upgraded from the MK1 to the MK2 to the MK3i. Each one was 11% better than the last.

Fantastic Watch
I currently own Tactix 7 Amoled,Tactix 8 Amoled, and Descent MK3i. The Descent is hands down my favorite watch out of all 3. If you are thinking of this watch go ahead and purchase it you will not regret it. Awesome features and great preloaded faces! Garmin definitely hit a home run with this one!

Incredible!!!!
As an endurance athlete and data dude, I have been a HUGE Garmin fan for a long, long time! I am also a diver that depends on data for safety, so this was a no brainer!!! It does everything but put on my fins and clear my mask! Just an amazing, do everything computer on my arm! On a side note, this has the built-in flashlightI, (as does my FX7 Sapphire Solar) and once you have a flashlight on your arm you may never go back!

Great addition to my dive locker.
I’m a diving professional who enjoys a very active lifestyle. My last watch was a Garmin Fenix 5s and loved it. After almost 6 years I decided to upgrade to this one. It did not disappoint. It does everything my Older Fenix did plus my diving activities and new health analytics. I’m very happy with my new watch.

Not overly impressed so far
I haven't used it for diving yet, just smart watch mode so far. Display is nice and bright and battery life is as advertised. The inductive buttons on the other hand are hit and miss at best, Sometimes they work. Sometimes it takes multiple presses to get what I want. I question the long term reliability.
