Buyer Beware!! "Espresso Machine WITHOUT Frother"
I loved the look of this retro espresso machine, but the frother does not work! The dial/nob on the side that's supposed to make the frother work, does not move - it is glued solid to the side & is "decorative" only - that was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT - & nothing in the directions/manual mentions this or how it was supposed to work if it Did work. Also, there is a plug in the back, that is not mentioned anywhere in the directions/manual, that plugs water from going into the machine to make coffee. We nearly burned out the motor before we realized it was there & needed to be removed before use!!! VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Feels like a toy, too light, not enough pressure.
I was attracted to the vintage style since 90% of these espresso makers look nearly identical. However, the materials are very disappointing, all plastic and feels more like a toy espresso machine for a child’s pretend kitchen. Putting the portafilter into the machine cause it to slide around the counter, even with the weight of the full water reservoir. Just feels too lightweight and cheaply made. Additionally, a good machine when tamped properly should begin to pour from both spouts of the portafilter, this one does not. It always begins from the right with a lag time before the left produces any espresso. It seems like the steam pressure is not sufficient or evenly distributing, and when discarding used grounds, the espresso is very wet/muddy… does not drop out in a tight puck like better machines I’ve had in the past. Overall, I am very disappointed and will not buy Galant again. I shouldn’t have been so charmed by the vintage look and stuck with a trusted brand I’d previously used several times.

Do not waste your money
I contacted customer service, no response, I wanted to put in my warranty, as water spits out from the heating milk part. Not sure what it's called, I sent a video of it,NO RESPONSE, they don't respond to you so your warranty runs out, next am filing a complaint with BBB.This company is deceiving, and fraudulent.I wish I could could give it -zero stars.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, YOU WILL REGRET IT IN 6 MONTHS.oh i tried them via social media too,it's like a ghost.
