Awful side effects on 1/3 of daily dose

I’ve known of gingko for years for its benefits to brain health and memory support, and after a couple of traumatic brain injuries in the last few years I was excited to try this out and get my cognition back on track. I started off taking one capsule a day, but I noticed it just made me feel slightly panicky and sensitive to my surrounding in an odd, dull way. So I experimented a handful more times in an attempt to see if better conditions would work. I tried taking one an empty stomach, I tried taking one in the afternoons with lunch. Same results. Figured if I took one before bed I’d be asleep anyway and the anxious side affects wouldn’t matter, but an hour later I am so dizzy I can’t sleep and extremely nauseous and my head is pounding so hard. I need to throw out the bottle after this. I recommend starting with one a day instead of the recommended three (for any new herb!) because I can’t imagine how I’d feel if I started off with two in the mornings. Gaia has the dosages way too high if you compare theirs to what is a recommended dosage to start with on google.
