The perfect boot

Great boot
While these boots are a tad difficult to put on and take off, they are exactly what I've been looking for. Simple, yet stylish design and beautifully crafted. The fit is roomy for my foot which allows for a thick sock.

Too Narrow Shaft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaft circumference was too narrow. I returned the wide version for this one because the wide one was too loose. If the circumference was maybe half an inch bigger, it would have been perfect.

Couldn’t fit in any size
I typically wear a 10, but the 10 was quite large and wide at the bottom, there was a ton of space and my foot was moving around a lot walking, even when I put on a thick sock, still didn’t fit. Depending on the shoe, I can fit in anything between 9. 5to 10. 5, so I exchanged for a 9. 5 and when I received them, I couldn’t even get it on my foot. I couldn’t get my heel and ankle down the neck of the boot at all, which was so weird because I have never had so much trouble getting boots on that were just a half size down. I went the other way and even tried to use a thin nylon sock and still wouldn’t go on. I thought for a minute, maybe the wrong size was sent but the print on the inside of the boot said “9. 5”. Totally bummed because I love Frye and was really looking forward to owning those, but guess not.

Beautiful heirloom boots
The quality of these will most likely outlast me and I would love to give these 5 stars but they are a BEAR to get on as my feet “stick” to the unlined leather. I will persevere however and hopefully as I break them in they will slide on like butter.

Elevated Simplicity
This is a cute boot and has the Frye quality as expected. I was hoping the color would be closer to a golden brown with a hint of auburn but it was a little redder than I prefer so it was a return for me; however, would still give a 5/5 rating with high recommendation.
