Macys false return policy advertising

Time to rethink buying anything from Macy's, they are not who they used to be. I ordered several items from Macy's including this French Connection shirt. The shirt is too large. When I attempted to return it--the only item on my larger order that I was returning, I couldn't start the return online so I called customer service. In the process, I was told that I would have to pay $10 (on a $61 dollar shirt on sale) because I was not a member of the Star rewards. The shipping details included in the package clearly state " Free Returns by Mail. If you are not happy with your purchase, ship it back for free". It is so sad to see what has happened to Macy's and its customer service. It is not the same Macy's I knew from even 5 years ago and absolutely not the same Macy's from the Christmas movies.
