Poor customer service

I bought this boot approximately Jan. 23rd. Yesterday March 2nd Macy’s sends me an email telling me that my boot is on sale! So I call to get a price adjustment and it’s past the return policy. So why send me an email that my purchased item is on sale. They tell me incase I want to buy it for someone else? Really? It wasn’t an email with a general Macy’s sale, it was my boot. No price adjustment, no store credit. They’ve lost a customer. In today’s world I can buy anything online. So from now on I will shop else where. Without that email I would never had known my item was on dale.
