Cute hippie chic boho top

This is a top that college students or their professor (me) can wear. I'm an old hippie-esque dresser and love stuff like this. I appreciate the way Free People modernizes the look so it's more sophisticated and can be dressed up. Some think Free People is for teens. I disagree. Wear what you want to wear. Forget the "rules" about what is "age appropriate" and the people who think they are making them. Of course, I draw the line at halter tops and short-shorts, but I did those back in the day. :)

Loved but returned

I ordered the blue and it was so soft and I LOVED the pattern. Plus I got it on sale. I ordered a large because I didn't know any better and by the time it was delivered and I tried it on there were no medium sizes left. I normally were a large top and in the juniors department but this fit more like an XL. It was falling off my shoulders. I knew the v cut was low but since it was so large it went extra low, like 3 inches past where it's pictured on the model. But it was so soft and pretty, I wanted to keep it but there was no way it was every going to magically shrink so I had to return it.

Not For Me

This top got so many good reviews and the price was right so I gave it a go. I thought it was probably too busy for my liking but I kept going back to it. When it finally arrived in the royal blue I was right. It is very busy and there is way too much material in the front for me because at 56 I am not pregnant, lol. I can see how this would be great with a baby bump but otherwise, ladies, I suggest looking at all the other great tops FP has for which my closet is grateful.

Best top I have purchased in a while, perfect look

Love this top, it is better than the picture. Fits just as described. Free people is one of my favorite brands but they really outdid it when they designed this top.
