Different leather

The texture of the wide calf boot is a different material than the regular calf.

Zipper

ADVICE: Order in WIDE WIDTH regardless if you normally don’t. I purchased 2 colors in Wide Calf Regular Width and the zipper was impossible to pull up, so hard that the zipper broke on both pairs. I exchanged for WIDE WIDTH and it gives you just enough room to slide your foot forward so the zipper clears your heel. These new pairs went on seamlessly. The zipper pulled up effortlessly. The wide width doesn’t make my feet feel like they’re sliding around inside. It’s the perfect solution to the impossible zipper issue.

I've had the brown for about 3yrs

3yrs later and the brown pairs still fits good. I want a black pair...might need for the price to come down some more, though.

Poor Zipper Quality

I really like everything about these boots, but the zippers were difficult to zip up. The zipper on the right boot actually broke within 2 months. I had it repaired at a luggage store (twice), I tried using zipper lubricant (twice), and I was even optimistic enough to bring them on a business trip this week...where the zipper broke again after one day of wear, so now I am wearing business clothes with sneakers. I'm sure they're lovely if and/or when the zippers function, but I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing this brand again.

Disappointed zippers broke within minutes

I bought a pair in light brown & black. The zipper was so difficult to pull up that they BOTH broke the first time I tried them on. I returned both with broken zippers for a full refund. I will try the wide width version to see if that takes some of the tension off the zipper.

These boots aint made for walking

I wanted these boots so bad!!! I ordered my size, when they arrived, I couldn't get the zipper past my heel. I returned them and reordered a larger size, Although I had plenty of toe room, I was still unable to zip the boot past my heel. Now I can't return them because they are a final sale.
