Classic and elegant timepiece

I got this as a Christmas gift yesterday and I love it. It's got a classic and timeless rectangular design with an attractive dial that you can dress up or down. The rose gold makes it easier to wear with brown than a gold case, which I find to be too yellow. The case looked big in pictures of people wearing it but it looks just the right size in person. It even looks a little big in pictures on my wrist so I guess it just look bigger in photos. It's refreshing to see Fossil not only go with a rectangular case in a sea of round ones, but it's also nice that it's not oversized. Fossil has a tendency to make really big watches so people with smaller wrists like me miss out on a lot of their designs. But this one is a perfect size even for my smaller wrists. Anyway, the only thing I'm not crazy about is the watch strap. I'm not a huge fan of the new Fossil watch straps at all. I know they're genuine leather but they have a cheap plasticky feel and look to them. Maybe it's the matte finish on it that gives it an inferior feel. I also don't like that Fossil no longer has contrast stitching on many of their straps anymore. The dark stitching on a dark strap looked ehh so I swapped it out with an extra brown one with lighter contrast stitching and a shinier finish that I had lying around from another watch and I think it looks much better. Minus one star for the strap. Overall I really love this watch apart from the strap. I plan on getting another one in black and silver as well so I can wear it with my monochrome wardrobe.

Better Than Expected!

This arrived today. It was originally supposed to come 12/24 but came 12/22 instead. Really fast shipping, I love the watch, it keeps good time. It fits my wrist really well. The leather strap is great, I like the tin it came in! I'll definitely reuse it. 10/10!
