Foldable Doorway Pull Up Bar
Product Details
Web ID: 17191086So far, so good.
So far this bar is what they claim it should be. Strong enough to hold me and easy to set up and take down There are multiple exercises you can do on it, beside chin ups- triceps and more. I use it almost every day. I would recommend it over an installed bar. Seems sturdier. Recommended!

Love this pull-up bar with one exception...
This thing is solid, multifunctional, and compact all at the same time.I’m anywhere between 205-215 lbs at any time and this thing gives me the satisfaction of knowing I’m secure while doing every rep and set. Provided you use it for what it’s intended to be used for I believe the construction of this product will hold strong.I love the multi-functionality of this bar due to its variety of padded hand placements (wide or regular and high bar or low bar) enabling you to hit a number of different muscle groups. People without other options for dips can dismount this and place it on the floor. Although I don’t use this for dips, most folks who live in a small space could find this and ability to fold as benefits to owning this.As mentioned, this bar can be folded to about an inch or two. When it’s not hung up on my door frame it’s in my closet not thicker than my wooden jacket and coat hangers (about the thickness of 3-4 plastic clothes hangers). My only hang up with this product is that the top plastic pieces that hook on the top of the frame are starting to break (seen in image) and I’m concerned that I’ll fall when the plastic decides to give. I might need to stack a small piece of metal beneath and adhere with duct tape to keep it from splitting entirely. Otherwise this product does what it is supposed to do above par and I recommend it for anyone looking for a multifunctional, solidly built, and compact piece of workout equipment (and anyone who lives in small spaces).

Item is very solid for doing pull ups
I have been looking for one of these pull up bars. I am trying to get in shape and have been focusing on bicycling but I need to work on my upper body too, so this is a perfect piece of exercise equipment for that use. Note the slight dark smear on the light drywall. Make sure the hooks are in place so that doesn't happen to you. I have a picture of the hooks in place so you can see how that works. This was my first one of these types of pull up bars so it was a slight learning experience to set it up for use. This is a well made and solid pull up bar. It folds flat for storage. I store mine behind the door. I believe this will last years. I will update this review over time if something comes up to change my review.

Excellent product and easy to put together
Very sturdy and well-padded, so it doesn't leave dents or marks in your doorframe. It does not require any nail mounting and comes ready to hang in a standard doorway.I'm totally satisfied with this product.

Sturdy. Fits 36" Door Frame
I needed an easy to assemble pull up bar that fits a 36" doorway. This fold up pull up bar is perfect! No assembly required. No tools need to mount. This bar was on my door frame in seconds.I use this bar for my yoga swing (I do not swing on my yoga swing and the bar instructions speciically state NOT to swing). The bar is sturdy, holds my weight while I (struggle to) change positions and doesn't slip or slide.

Sturdy doorway pullup bar
I've tried a few pull-up bars before, but they have always made me nervous with their mounting methods. This one feels solid and every time I've set it up for use it's felt just as reliable. It has held about 225 pounds without issue for us. Haven't tested it with higher loads yet, but I think it would do well given the design. The over-the-door parts fold out by pressing down on the spring, then lock into place with grooves. They don't feel like they can easily move out of place, and under pressure feel solid. The padded 'feet' on the bar ends that rest on the side of the door frame stick a bit after use, but that seems to contribute to how solid it feels in use. Once installed, and having had some weight applied to it, it feels like a part of the door frame until lifted and removed.I have lost a touch of paint off the top of the door frame, but that is probably par for the course with these kinds of bars. The feet that rest on the side of the frame have not caused any issue, and that's really where it would be visible. I wouldn't have noticed the paint issue off the top if it wasn't white paint on a black support bar, so I'm not concerned. You will want to make sure you pay attention to the width of the door and the location relative to walls. I had planned on using this on a closet door but found the door was too narrow to fit the bar. I tried a second door that was wide enough, but right at a corner. The bar could shift almost enough to work there, but I wasn't comfortable having it end so close to the wall where any shifting might damage paint.Overall I recommend this for anyone put off of home pull up bars - this kind of design really put my fears of the bar failing to stay in place to rest.

Great pullup bar!
I weigh 235 and it feels solid when I use it. My daughter uses this too and loves it, she's vertically challenged but can grab the lower rung easily then climb up to the higher.I did "try to help" her once... I didn't realize she was going to jump up to the bar and she didn't realize I was going to lift her and we both went at the same time. She pushed the bar up a little and that's how you remove it from the door frame... It was good for a laugh!Aside from lifting the bar like you do to remove it, there is no give in this thing at my weight. It feels solid secure. I didn't use it on a pocket door since half the frame of a pocket door is hollow so the door can slide into the wall. I have used it on a regular bedroom door frame and it works great.I love how the arms articulate out and lock in place. That was a concern I had before it arrived, but there's no issue there.Admittedly, I am not strong enough yet to do many pull ups... My current limit is 1.8 pull ups... But I am working on it to get better. I do use it to hang from and pop my back into place. Just grab the bar, lift your feet off the ground and twist mildly, works great for me for anything out of place below the shoulder blades. My daughter also uses this for her ab workout, hang from the bar and either pull your knees to your chest or lift your straight legs until your body is in an L shape. When you're done, fold it up and slip it under the bed or behind the door. Setup time is 15 seconds or less.

Great, but pay attention to your doorways!
So this product seems great and super solid. Right out of the package I could feel how well made the pull up bar is. As you can see though, I had to take a picture of the bar on my floor instead of installed on a doorway. This is because instead of paying close enough attention to ALL measurements mentioned, I made the mistake of thinking that this would fit on my doorways because they fit the smaller measurements. I was under the impression that this bar is adjustable, but if that is the case then I haven’t figured out how to adjust it yet. The bar needs clearance not only for the middle sections to grab on, but it also needs clearance around the door frame and the wall for the larger sections to be able to brace the bar. If your doors are all placed very close to walls like mine are, then this bar simply wont work. However, I’m still going to recommend the bar because it is obviously well made. If you pay attention to the measurements and the type of doorway it requires, it will be a great piece of equipment for you!
