Star Rating: ★★★☆☆ Series Ratings: 💜 Hopeless (#1): ★★★★☆ ❤️ Losing Hope (#2): ★★★☆☆ 💙 Finding Cinderella (#2.5): ★★★☆☆ 💛 All your perfects (#3): ★★★★★ 💜 Finding Perfect (#2.6): ★★★★☆ Overall Reading Experience & Impressions: “Finding Cinderella” was a fun, lighthearted addition to Colleen Hoover’s series. While it wasn’t particularly groundbreaking, it provided a fresh perspective and tied together loose ends from other books in a satisfying way. It’s not a standout read, but it’s an enjoyable companion novella for fans of the series. What Worked: ✨ Fresh Perspective: I appreciated that this novella brought a new tone to the series, offering a lighter and sillier narrative compared to the heavier themes in other books. 😂 Character Chemistry: The dynamic between the two main characters felt natural, and their shared history added depth to their interactions. The moments of humor, especially with the “videotaping” scene, brought some much-needed levity. 📚 Series Connection: It was clever how Hoover tied this story back into the overarching series, making the connections between characters and their backstories clearer. What Didn’t Work: 😕 Lack of Depth: As a novella, it understandably lacked the depth and emotional resonance of a full-length book. It felt more like an add-on rather than a fully realized story. 🔄 Predictable Plot: While it was enjoyable, the plot twists were easy to see coming, which made the story feel a bit less engaging. Final Thoughts: “Finding Cinderella” is an okay book—not great, but not bad either. It’s a fun, quick read that fits well within the context of the series, but it’s not something I’d go out of my way to recommend on its own. Who Would I Recommend It To? 📖 Fans of “All Your Perfects” and the rest of the series who want a bit more context about the characters’ backstories. This novella serves as a nice bridge between the books and is worth picking up if you’re invested in the series.

Hoping for a HEA
In true Coleen Hoover fashion you get drawn right into the story. I loved that this is a story from a guy's POV. To me, this is a totally original story that is sort of like a fairy tale. The whole concept of two complete strangers meeting in and odd way and never really knowing who the other person is; is remarkable. Then like star-crossed lovers their worlds collide again with neither knowing that the "other" is their secret unknown stranger from the past. They're inexplicably drawn to each other. Loved it!

Daniel’s story told from his perspective
This novella centered on Daniel and Six’s story from their meeting, and strike up a relationship that fit perfectly between them. Characters from the, “Hopeless” books you see Holder, Sky, Breckin, and see things from Daniel’s point of view. The novella was lighthearted and funny due to Daniel’s wisecrack jokes, nicknames he gave everyone, and his obsession with Six. Daniel always felt like the comedic relief, always making light of things, and alongside Holder being the funny, energetic best friend. Reading through Daniel’s perspective we got to see how he couldn’t get stop thinking about his mysterious Cinderella, the girl he met in the maintenance closet, and how they shared an unexpected moment that stayed with him. We got to see just how much Daniel as well as majority of everyone not liking Val (a.k.a. Tessa, the girl Daniel dated on and off), and obviously seeing Daniel and Six hang out. Daniel and Six had good chemistry together, and the moments they spent together reflected just how much they got along. Before Six, Daniel felt like he could see a person’s flaws right away, but with Six, everything about her amazed him, and he couldn’t get enough of her. In addition, it was fascinating to see just how spontaneous both Six and Daniel were, and they understood each other as if they were on the same wave length. In Daniel’s mind, it was like Six was his female counterpart which I thought was funny, but also a bit true haha. Just when I thought this novella was lighthearted and sweet, Colleen Hoover managed to somehow yet again smack me with a plot twist I definitely wasn’t expecting. The moment that Daniel realized that Six was his Cinderella, the one he couldn’t stop thinking back after the moment they shared was the very one right with him should have been a joyous moment, instead it led to a big twist that resulted in Six crying and Daniel feeling confused and hurt. The revelation of what happened to Six while she went to Italy and coming clean about it to Daniel was a shock to him and myself. I felt bad for Six because, with the truth out in the open, I saw just how much it hurt her having to tell Daniel as well as how much she struggled through that time in her life. Meanwhile, Daniel was trying to grip the fact that he was upset and yet couldn’t believe what she told him. In the end, Six and Daniel managed to work things out. Another bit that was kind of big was when everyone, Daniel, Six, Holder, and Sky all came out with their secrets, and in a weird way it brought them closer than ever. Each person had their struggles, but together they had each other. I love the friend dynamic between all the characters, and for a novella this book included a good amount on the characters. Would recommend so you can learn about Six and Daniel, and hey you get to see some other characters as well. This was a mixture of lighthearted, yet also packed a bit on the surprise element, and made me love the friend group.
