I had given this mug a 3 rating because of a tiny pimple on the handle. I also mentioned that I was going to return the mug for this reason. However, I changed my mind about returning the mug. I am keeping it for my Christmas Fiesta Tapered Mug Collection. & started drinking my morning coffee in it yesterday. I waited too long to order the snowman mugs, so I had to order them directly from Fiesta Factory Direct. They are a fun shape & I now I will have a nice assortment. I do not know why Fiesta claims these tapered mugs are 15 oz. They are not, as a few other shoppers stated. I make a manual pour over coffee every morning & measure 12 oz. of water & it basically comes to the top of the mug. It is not a big deal for me, but the description should be accurate. Happy Shopping.....
