Cute Candy Dish

Fiesta quality
Bought the red one to use for a Valentine party hors d'oeuvre. It's just the right size - not too big but big enough to actually hold enough nuts/dip/sauce for the entire time - refilling not necessary. Gotta love Fiesta with all the great colors and the quality ceramic. I have several serving items that I use regularly.

New use is cat-whisker friendly!
We've had a set of three for 10+ years. They bake delicious brownies and layer cakes for Valentine's Day. Fun colors-Scarlet, Sunflower, Turquoise. Hold up great. Now they have year-round use for cat food (one for wet, one for dry). Typical bowls (6.5" wide non-Fiesta) bump our cat's whiskers and we had tons of leftover food (wet and dry). These medium heart bowls give his whiskers more room and still have a slight edge (more than a plate) so wet food and kibble don't push over the edge easily. The cat can comfortably eat all of his food. The reduction in leftover bits has been remarkable, more than we expected: Used to leave 30% of the food in traditional cat food bowls...now 99% of it is eaten. Slightly cheaper pet-specific bowls at local pet stores and big box stores did not have the width and slight edge I was seeking. Nothing was USA-made and I do not trust the coatings and logos to be as safe as Fiesta or as durable in general. I came here to get a few more so we have a set for our human needs and two more for the cat. The savings in cat food will quickly cover the cost. We love our pet, may as well say it with heart-shaped Fiesta. Humans and pets enjoy dinner on Fiesta in our home now. Honestly, I think Fiesta could be onto a whole lineup here to show some love to cats and their whiskers. I think the heart shape gives the cat some more angles to work with vs. something that is perfectly round.
