Excellent New Design

This teapot is excellent! It has done away with all the dripping and hard to handle problems of the old style teapot. I hope Fiestaware makes the pot in Foundry. It reminds me of the old Wedgwood black basalt jasperware and I would definitely buy another tea set in that color.

Perfect Wedding Gift

Wonderful teapots

I absolutely love this teapot and have purchased it in several colors. Mix and match in a beautiful tablescape or use it alone, this is a great piece! I used 3 of these teapots, in different colors, at my last tea party and received lots of compliments! Highly recommend!

Not great quality.

I have been collecting fiestaware for 35 years. While this new teapot is a lovely color, the glaze is subpar, with several unglazed spots and the lid does not fit well.

Better Than Granny’s Old “Brown Betty!”

This is a real tea lover’s teapot! Everything about this pot seems designed to enhance the experience of having tea. The thick-walled spheroidal 44-ounce tank set on a cleverly designed foot serves to keep the tea warm for a very long time. The spout is nearly drip-free, and the lid stays in place to the very last pour; just be sure the catch is pointed back toward the handle.

Love their new design for the large teapot.

I know some feel that the ring handle is part of the wonderful look of Fiesta, and it can be, but in using the large teapot, the old ring handle was harder to lift comfortably, especially when the pot has just been filled with freshly boiled water and it's heavy and hot. So I have to say that the new handle is a wonderful improvement for the functionality of the teapot. This one feels so much better in your hand when you're serving. Bravo for that. Also, unlike some teapots I have that are not Fiesta, this pot shows no crazing or other damage to the outside, despite the fact that I repeatedly pour just boiled water into it. It's a keeper.
