I’m happy with this coffee pot

First and most important is that the coffee it makes tastes great and is very hot. It is, however, not as quick and easy to use as an automatic drip machine. See details of my thoughts below. Pros: a) can be fully cleaned after each use, so no buildup of dirt and mold contamination. b) no electronic parts to go bad in 5 years. c) no glass carafe to break. d) does not leak coffee grounds into the brew. e) it is a cute, pretty and shiny pot. Cons: a) it takes 25 to 30 minutes to boil/brew before coffee is ready to drink. b) it only holds 8 cups. c) no built in warming plate. d) I feel the need to wash thoroughly with soap and water after each use to remove coffee stains and oils. Directive says it can go in dishwasher, but I don’t trust it to remain pretty and shiny after dishwasher. e) I feel the need to use a towel to hand dry the inside as water likes to remain in the pot due to the way the edges are shaped. In my opinion, for my personal use, this is a great alternative to an automatic drip machine.

Love it!

I bought the 8-cup. Easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. Experiment with perk time, types of coffee and you will find a sweet spot. Clean up was easy with warm soapy water.

We love the coffee pot, but need a spring please

My partner got the 8 cup ( Yosemite Stovetop ) Percolator a couple Christmas ago from his mom. Cause when he was younger and he would stay over by his Grandparents house his Grandmother would always make coffee in a coffee Percolator like this one. .

Something I needed!

I bought this pot after we had a power outage for six days. This pot will work great on the wood stove or on top of a propane burner if we lose power again. Think I will enjoy using this pot!
