Use extreme caution.

This kettle is a safety hazard! It never whistles, so when you open the spout to pour a cup it shoots boiling water out at a very dangerous speed shooting hot water all over. I almost got burned! I TOSSED IT.

I bought this teapot after trying other brands.. I bought several other pots and pans recently and am very pleased with them. So it just made sense to try the teapot.. so glad I did!!

Nice but missing a feature.

Beautiful but missing a function. The spout covert does not stay up so you can stop the whistle or let humidity into the room. I returned it.

Farberware tea kettle

This is a good basic tea kettle. It does discolor a little at the base. For the price would recommend. I wish this came in a red as well.
