Mixed review

works as promised, but makes an irritating low volume noise after brewing. Difficult to focus on work or reading while it's plugged in.

Great coffee pot!

Have used a Farberware Electric Percolator for years. My husband doesn't like drip pots because he says the coffee isn't hot enough, and they shut off in 2 hours. That is not a problem with this Farberware pot. We have it plugged in from sun up to sun down. Fast, too. Brews 12 cups in 12 minutes. Only negative with this pot---it continues to make a funny sound after the brewing is done. Never had that before. Hope it's not a sign that something is wrong with it.

Not quite like yesteryear, but it'll do...

Still a good product, but a little sound eminates that never did from previous ones...acceptable sale price, but still astronomical compared to the last time i needed one. Still, it's worth the good tasting, hot coffe so its a keeper in my household...

It says 12 cups but really is only 4-5 cups

12-cup Farberware Percolator

The percolator is a replacement for a smaller percolator of the same make but gave out after 20+ years of using it. Then new unit works just as well. Macy's shipping is really slow. It took a while (a week) to have the order shipped. The shipping carrier took no time to deliver.
